New OptimCE release: stability, user guide and public sharing operations

A new OptimCE release is now available. It focuses on three things: making the platform more reliable, helping new users get up to speed faster, and opening the door to more collaboration between energy communities.

Stability and bug fixes

This release brings a series of stability improvements and fixes reported by the community. Day-to-day operations should feel smoother, with fewer rough edges across the administration interface and the analytics backend.

A user guide always within reach

OptimCE now ships with a complete user guide at guide.optimce.be. It is also accessible directly from the main navigation of this website and from the navbar inside the app, so help is always one click away. The guide covers installation, configuration and day-to-day community management.

Discover open sharing operations

The app now includes a public registry of sharing operations. Any community manager can choose to publish their operation, and anyone — citizens, businesses, prospective members — can browse the list to find an operation open to new members near them. We hope it will help more people join an energy community and give existing communities better visibility.

As always, feedback and contributions are very welcome on our GitHub repository.
