Free, open, and built to stay that way

OptimCE is in alpha and part of an active research project. Here is what we commit to, today and long-term.

Today

Free during alpha

The hosted SaaS at app.optimce.be is free to use while we are in alpha. Like many open source projects, the hosted version may move to paid plans later — if so, you will know well in advance. Self-hosting stays free regardless.

Forever

Open source, always

The full source code is released under Apache 2.0 and will stay open. Audit it, fork it, contribute — no proprietary core, no rug pull.

Forever

Self-hosting always free

Run OptimCE on your own infrastructure with zero restrictions. The open source core stays fully featured — no paid tiers, no feature gating. We may offer paid support or services on top, but never as a gate on the OSS itself.

For developers

Built with modern, open technologies

Angular frontend, Node.js/TypeScript and FastAPI backend, event-driven architecture. Contribute on GitHub or integrate OptimCE into your own tools via the REST API.
