Covenant of Mayors
A voluntary European initiative through which a municipality commits to cutting its greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 % by 2030 and to submitting an action plan within two years of its decision to join. 230 Walloon cities and municipalities out of 262 had signed by mid-September 2024.
