Grid
Capacity tariff
The Flemish distribution tariff in force since January 2023, calculated on monthly peak power rather than on the hour of consumption. The average peak recorded by the VREG is around 3.15 kW, with a billed minimum of 2.5 kW. It removes the day/night distinction from the grid part of the bill: the useful move is no longer to consume at night, but to avoid running everything at once.
