Exclusive-night meter
A second meter, with its own EAN code, feeding only a dedicated circuit — hot-water tank or storage heating — during a night-time window, most often 22:00 to 07:00 or 21:00 to 06:00 depending on the substation. Since 1 January 2026 ORES has aligned its distribution rate with dual-rate off-peak hours: it therefore no longer offers any advantage to a dual-rate customer, and it heats water at night, when no panel is producing.
Also known as: exclusive night meter, night-only meter
