Bidirectional charging
The ability of an electric vehicle to return energy from its battery to the home (V2H) or to the grid (V2G). In Belgium in 2026 the offering remains marginal: bidirectional charge points at €4,000-8,000, few compatible models and an unsettled connection standards framework.
Also known as: V2G, V2H, vehicle-to-grid, vehicle-to-home
