Portable photovoltaic kit
An assembly of one or more panels, micro-inverters, a mounting system and cabling, designed to be plugged into an ordinary socket with no fixed connection to the consumer unit. Previously prohibited, it has been legal in Belgium since 17 April 2025. In Wallonia it must be declared to the network operator using the UP10 form; no text sets a power limit, the CWaPE describing a typical kit as between 400 and 800 W.
Also known as: plug and play kit, balcony solar panel, mobile photovoltaic installation
