Domestic hot water
Water heated for domestic uses — showering, dishes, washbasin — as opposed to water in the heating circuit. When produced electrically, it is the most attractive load to shift onto solar production: its consumption is daily, fully shiftable in time and independent of whether anyone is home. The tank must nonetheless reach 60 °C regularly to prevent legionella.
