Billing
Social tariff
A maximum price for electricity, gas or heat, reserved for protected customers. It is set by the CREG every quarter, published in the Belgian Official Gazette and identical across every supplier: switching operator changes nothing. It covers the energy and grid components, but not the special excise duty or the connection charge.
Also known as: social energy tariff
